About Hercules CF
Hercules CF (also known as Hercules Club de Futbol, Herculanos or Blanquiazules) is a Spanish football team which competes in the highest division of Spanish football; the La Liga.
Hercules CF holds its home matches at the Estadio Jose Rico Perez which is capable of holding up to 30,000 people.
Hercules CF was founded in 1922 and reached the La Liga for the first time in its history in the 1935/36 season
After first appearing in La Liga in 1935–36 and in the four following decades Hercules CF competed mostly in the second division. After spending half a decade in the third division, Hercules CF finished the 2004/05 season in the second place and earned promotion to the second level.
Five seasons later, Hercules achieved promotion to the top-flight for the first time in 13 years and will compete in the La Liga in the 2010/11 season. Hercules CF News
