About Inter Inter Milan Football Club (aka Inter Milan, Internazionale, Inter, the Nerazzurri or, officially, as Football Club Internazionale Milano) is a top Italian Seria A football club. Inter is the undefeated team of the several last years and a widely supported club both in Italy and abroad. The only club in Italy that can boast a perfect record of Seria A participation (AC Milan, par example were relegated twice, and Juventus – once, as consequence of the match fixing in 2005-06 season) since it was established in the beginning of the 20th century. Inter Milan is in top form, starting at 2005-06 season when the Italian Championship fell into their hands after Juventus, AC Milan and other Seria A clubs became tangled in a scandal of match fixing and lost points as result. Inter holds a notable amount of international titles (and runner-ups) as well as almost 30 Italian titles. Inter Milan play at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, aka the San Siro. Inter Milan share the San Siro stadium with rival Milanese club AC Milan. The most avid Inter fans sit at the Curva Nord, the northern part of the stadium. Sitting there can turn out to be a lively experience of songs and flags, but can also turn bad when the over excited crowds throw flares, usually in hot clashes against arch-rivals such as Juventus and the local AC Milan in two of the hottest Derby matches in the world. The san sire stadium is the largest in Italy and can host 80,000 spectators. Inter’s practice grounds are near Como, at the Angelo Moratti Sports Center, named after the president of Inter Milan during the club's golden era of the 1960s (aka La Pinetina) Among Inter Mialn best known players are Defender Javier Zanetti (Captain) and new star Striker Samuel Eto’o, Inter Milan FC players wear black and blue striped sets. The colors are the source of their nickname Nerazzuri, (Ner(o) means black and Azzurri means blue). The same name is used sometime for other, less popular Italian clubs that use the colors: Atalanta B.C. and Pisa Calcio.
