About CA Osasuna

Osasuna (also known as Club Atletico Osasuna) is a professional Spanish football team; founded in 1920 and plays in La Liga, the First Division of Spanish football. Osasuna's home matches are held at the Estadio Reyno de Navarra stadium which has a capacity of 19,500 spectators. Osasuna players wear red shirts, navy blue shorts and black socks with red back for the home matches and navy blue shirts, orange shorts and navy blue socks for the away matches.

After finishing at the 6th place in the 1985/86 season, Osasuna reached the UEFA Cup qualification for the first time in the team's history. A decade later, the team successfully qualified to the knock-out stage and finished at the second place in its group. Osasuna progressed to the semifinals before being eliminated.

In the 2008/09 season, Osasuna struggled throughout the season and managed to avoid relegation only in the final day.
