About Lille OSC
Lille OSC (also known as Lille Olympique Sporting Club, LOSC or Les Dogues) is a professional French football club based Lille and plays in France's highest football division; Ligue 1. Lille OSC was founded in 1944 from the merger of local teams and during its history played in various French leagues.
In 2000, Lille OSC achieved promotion back to Ligue 1 after spending three seasons in Ligue 2 and displayed very good performance. Lille participated in the Champions League for 3 times, won the Intertoto Cup in 2004 and finished in the second place of the table in the 2004/05 season. Lille OSC News
